I've posted this on the Sonar Forum, but it's a bit dead over there at the moment.
My problem: I noticed recently in X2 that neither of the above synths would work.
I have completely reinstalled X2 including deleting the necessary registry keys. I also removed all traces of previous versions of X1 & 8.5 before reinstalling X2 from scratch.
Once I finished reinstalling, I fired up a project and sure enough, both the Pentagon and the TTS-1 worked as they should.
I then spent some time installing my add-on packs for Z3TA, Dim PRo, Rapture etc
Now, the Pentagon will not work again. Inserting it into a project doesn't load the full GUI, just the frame with a completely white area where all the controls are usually visible. Closing the Pentagon at this point crashes Sonar totally.
The TTS1- will work but only when inserting into an empty project - it will not insert into an existing project.
I am running Sonar "As Adminstrator"
