not to make you feel older, but its "spittin raps", but people do say bust to like, are you gon bust somthin?

trust me tho nothing pains me more then having to tell an older person they used todays slang wrong, it just puts us both in a weird situation...

if you cant read somthin with only minor spelling errors, then you needa pay more atention in school...

Weird situation...I've seen too much in my years to find much anything weird anymore. I enjoy being brought up on things, though. Always good to know what you youngsters are speaking. ;)
 
iono, tha bay area is in a world all its own, tha slang we use wont be picked up by tha rest of tha US untill years from now,

thizzin=high on extacy
gettin hyphy=actin hella crazy
goin dumb/stupid/retarded=tha way we dance

theres juss so much more but to explain them youd havto how how the bay area culture is, if you really wanna get deep into it, let me know...

i'll lace you up witta culture you prolly didnt know existed...

heres some trivia for you...

the bay area coined the word "fo shizzle" and all the other izzles out there...

You want to spit facing the room and put some absorbtion in the booth behind you. I assume you are using a cardoid microphone... in that case when you face the booth it isn't doing much cos the microphone is only picking up what is in front of it. i.e. your the sound of your spit and the sound of your spit as reflected by the character of your room (the reverb part of it)

Face the other way you'll get a dry recording with less reverb and you can add in some reverb with your daw.

nah not really, its tha internet, do you really think i care how i spell when explaining somthin to sombody im never come in contact with outside tha forum...

n for tha one dude, nah im usin a condenser, n i like tha reverb i get from it, it gives my vocals a more fuller sound...

n for tha other dude,

pm me or somthin if you wanna know all that, i thought i was pretty clear but i guess not...

but like i said, tha bay area hip hop culture is seriously crazy, we really live on a whole other planet...

like:

I don't care what anyone says, that vocal booth is hard core for sure.
