PEAVEY PV8 USB mixer....in desparate need of help!

Recording with Adobe Audition 3
Windows XP, SP3

Blue Baby Bottle Mic to Peavey PV8 USB Mixer to Computer

Samson Resolv monitors coming out of the mixer.

I can NOT record without it hissing, and it records the instrumental with my voice so I can't do much to EQ or mix

PLEASE Help me!
