I was working on this riff and my friend tells me it is a PearlJam song.

Now thats fine by me, but that sucks. I don't believe him because he doesn't actually play guitar, but that could even be more of a reasong to believe him.

I need some of you guys to decide for me. I have listened to the albums that I own and I didn't hear it....but then...maybe thats becasue I don't want to......:( :o

I don't care what they say....its my song now.......

My brother is a big PJ fan and doesn't recognize it.It kind of has that vibe, though.Pretty cool.

Than you so much. That is a hell of a weight off my shoulder. I like that song and really was really looking forward to expanding it untill the other day......

Now am I free again.

That would be "Nothingman" off of "Vitalogy". It's not close enough to worry about though, IMO.

I got that CD too. I am going to have to have a listen. Gotta dig it out of some boxes :)

reminds me of a song they played on their unplugged session..... but i would have never made the connection if you hadn't told me to think pearljam. now if whoever sings it sounds like layne (not sure how to spell his name) then people may make a connection.

like everyone said......it's not close enough to worry about though.

That would be Eddie Vetter.Layne Staley was Alice In Chains singer.

holy crap. i saw alice in chains every time i looked at this thread........i'm sorry guys........i can't believe i did that.

i even wrote pearjam in my reply and never realised it.

man...major brain malfunction

that's embarrasing.....i'm deleting my last reply in this thread.
