PC with Vista to Tascam DP-o1

Sorry to sound so naive, but I am trying to download a wav file from my PC to the Tascam and I simply cannot get it to work. I can't make sense of the manual.

How do I do this, please?

Okay, what's probably happening is you're trying to put a Stereo Wav into the tascam, and that doesn't work.

Use whatever mixing software you use on your computer to make it a Mono Wav, and it should transfer.
