I also am probably going to have sell some of my other gear as well including:

Mint Rode Nt1 with carrying pouch = $125
Mint small diaphram condenser CAD e-1000 with carrying case = $75

Thanks,

Nothin' to add, but the loans--yeah........

I'm going to law school next year. In three years I'll be pushin' 130k in debt...........

But the flipside is, might as well run up the cc's with rock gear now--cuz what's one or 2K more or less.

jet-rocker,

cool. I am also going to law school next year. You aint lying about the huge debt though. Luckily, I'll have my MBA so I can work during the day and go at night.

What schools are you looking at?

Cyan: It's kind of a 'Legally Blond' story for me. I'm just a bum from the midwest, but I did really well on the LSAT--so I had opportunities that I NEVER thought I'd have.

Looks like I'll be going to the University of Chicago next year though. Got decent financial aid from them. It's supposed to be intense, but I have a chip on my shoulder, so..................

I won't be able to work--it'll be weird. I've been working since I was 16. What town are you landing in?

jet-rocker,

cool deal. U of Chicago is a nice school. Unfortunately I dont think I'll be able to go to such a good school.

I am going to take my LSAT in october, and If I score a 163 on it I'll be amazed. I have spent over $100 on prep books and I still cant figure out the darn games section. On all the practice tests I've done so far I've been around 157-161. I know that I have to increase my score bigtime though or no lawschool for me.

I am only looking at schools with evening programs and since I am an international student, I wont be able to get as much aid, so I am looking at affordable schools. I am hoping that I can get into a top 100 though.

My top choice now is Georgia State. They are ranked well and cost low. I am also planning to go into entertainment law(I think lawyers call it intellectual property) so that I can work in music management when I get out.

What do you plan to focus on?

You've got time to work on the LSAT. The games section was a bitch. Hardest section for me. I worked up to a point where I could get through all four games though--I studied for about 8 months.

If you can take a course it's worth it--not so much for the classes, but access to all the previous LSATs.

I went through EVERY previous practice test. The book LSAT 180 was helpful too.

Georgia state is not bad at all, not by a long shot--and yeah entertainment law would be great.

I met a guy who is a paralegal in LA who does entertainment law at a medium sized firm. They get to handle the Dating Game's law suits, etc. Sounds like a kick.

Don't want to graduate and work 80 hrs a week though.
