I see the light ...
littledog - thanks for the post. It does shed some light on this whole thing. As for your posts in particular, I never for one minute want you to think that I am slighting your explanations (hints of sarcasm or not). I agree it's a learned art and I really do appreciate those who have already cut their teeth on it.
However, we do have OK equipment and we do have the ability to produce OK recordings of our stuff right now. We've come here to exercise the brains of those who have already had success at home and without having to drop the $600 you speak of to get that extra edge. As I said, we're OK with it not being the best ... for now.

I was able to think outside the box you laid before me and researched your posts. Wow, all by myself. I suppose I should have done that first before I spoke out about the sarcasm and condascension I was reading towards my friend in this particular thread. I may have understood better that you do have knowledge and experience but choose to dish it out selectively. Next time I will avoid asking questions or making comments that may offend you. 
Your nascar comment should have clued me in.
Blue Bear - well, now I know that you are a seasoned vet here. Hopefully we'll get along better in the future.

Man, this has all gotten blown out of proportion, as most threads as leading as this one was, do. Oh well. Maybe next time.
