Panning Guitars in Send/Receive

Hey guys,

I have two guitars nested under one track in order the have the FX for the "parent" track send a amp impulse and amp-sim to the two tracks under it. The problem I'm having is that I have the two tracks panned hard left and hard right but when under the parent track they pan to mono. What can I do to have them panned how I want? I've read the manual, both chapters 5 and 15, but couldn't figure it out still. Picture below for reference. Thanks.

If I understand you correctly, then if that amp sim/impulse is mono, your tracks will be mono. You probably have to use an instance of the sim on each guitar track.

Any time you put a mono effect on the parent track, everything inside it will become mono.

But again, I hope I understood what you're saying, or else I might be way out in left field. If so, I'm sure someone less stupid than me will come along and set us straight.
 
I always thought I was doing something wrong whenever I uploaded a picture. But I've come to the conclusion that this site makes everyone's pictures HUUUUGE. It happens every single time.
 
I'm willing to bet that IR is mono, or at best mono-in/stereo-out. You will likely have to instantiate it twice, either on the individual tracks or on the parent (folder) track with the routing pins configured appropriately so that each one only process one of the channels.

On top of that I'm not familiar with this theme so I can't tell if you've got the Master/Parent Send disabled on the two child tracks. If not, the sends are redundant, and at least one of those tracks is not panned at the track level, so that could throw things off a bit.

Thank you for the replies and help. You guys are definitely right. I was trying to make it easier to switch cab sounds rather than having to switch it twice for both my guitar tracks. I guess that's just the way it has to be.
 
To future readers:

Please note that the solution propossed by ashcat_lt only works if in the "FX folder track" you config the Width level to +100% .

It took me 2 hours to notice that :/
