Anyone have any experience with these cymbals? I think I like em, but I'm not sure.
 
I remember those from back in the day, are they still making them? I think they sounded pretty good - less shimmer, shorter wash, good tonal qualities- I'm pretty sure the ride cymbals had a great bell sound too.

My advice (because I'm somewhat of a cymbal snob) is to inspect them in person if you can. -Rez
 
I've always loved them for sheer power and great sound!
 
RUDEs are still being made.

I played on a Rude ride when I was auditioning with a band some time ago. Really nice, really heavy and powerful.
 
a guy came in with rudes the other day, and as much as i NEVER trust a cymbal
with a stupid name, i liked these.

Because she is part of the sixty legged, 15 metre, urine smelling conga line at the Texas (Katy) Retirement Village! They eat poop there as well. :p

Cool! Some day I want my own set. It's a bit down on the list for me though. I am going to buy a different ride for our drummer. I want a nice wide sweetspot for the bell sound and something that stays in controll and doesn't get crashy easy. It's mostly for me cause I suck, and I like that hammer on anvil sound. I'd actually like to have a nice ringy anvil:D

I've tried RUDE crashes, chinas and rides...

Definately, RUDE rides have a powerful, piercing bell; from the pack, I would love having a RUDE ride:D

Crashes and chinas just didn't do it for me.

Just my 2 cents.
