Okay. Retracked the vox and made several more changes. Removed the stupid rimshot on the end of the snare fills. Sounded good when I put it in last night, but when I listened this morning..... :o

Let me know what you think.

<crickets>

Vocals much better this round. That snare is about to make me want to strangle a squirrel. -or any rodent I can find because it drives me to kill something...

Sorry man, but the snare is just killing me. Makes it hard to listen to the song as I should.

The crickets are safe.. :)

The snare isn't my fav but it's not causing me any angst at all.
If this was sung a little more snottily I'd say it was almost an Iggy tune (though one of his quieter ones).
I like it!

Fun tune Chili. I like the staccato guitar thing that keeps coming back along with the snare roll. More of a high-energy, up-tempo thing than I expected.

LOL@ Schlitz! Haven't heard that name in a long while. The lyrics are fun throughout actually.

I don't mind the snare sound so much myself, but the kick isn't making too much of an appearance through my little bookshelf speakers here. Guitar tones are cool. Bass moves along nicely...good job.

Chili,

I haven't forgotten you. I just haven't had a chance to do this. I had an original I wanted to finish, and a couple of side-projects and other collabs that I got done. I wanted to do your song this weekend, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. I should get it done this week, next weekend at the latest, if you still want it.

No problem. Please take your time and if you don't want to or don't have the time, I'm okay. No shattered feelings. :)
I forgot all about it, honestly. I have the attention span of an internet-idiot.

This one fell through the cracks on me. I thought the vocals really worked it spot on. I thought the overall tune was damn good!

Sorry it took me two weeks to respond. Travel, work, amnesia, etc....

Hmmm, my new secret weapon when I need to thin the mod herd. Buwhahahahahaaaa... My plan is coming together perfectly.

Thanks man. I don't mind Iggy having one up on me. :)

Schlitz is the beer of choice for any 17 yr old. As is Olde English when you want some class on a high school student salary. :D Thanks for the listen. I've checked levels on the kick and I think I'll leave it as is for now.

Thanks for giving it a listen. Glad you liked it!! :)
