I finally got around to ordering the PIAI headphone distribution amp and when I am done putting it together
and testing it I will give a review here for whoevers interested.

It's an OK amp..not the greatest, but useable at very low levels.

If it turns out to be as good as a samson I will be happy and for half the price.

has arrived, will put together soon. allthough noone seems interested will keep posted

I'm a little interested... Just for the hell of it. :D The local dealer sells Leem headphone-boxes (4 outputs) for less than 75$. And the behringer thingy is pretty cheap too. (Although I don't have much confidence in their headphone-amps. The one in my mixer just dropped dead... I'm thinking of getting it anyway. If it sucks, I'll have a nice box to put the paia or a homebuild one in. :D )

I'm on the verge of buying one

I'd be using it for the musicians that I'm recording for, so it doens't have to the most accurate thing ever, but I don't want it to sound shitty at the same time, I just need something to get the job done, and done well enough where people won't complain about it.

Just lookin for some feedback on it,
Thx,

Sabith

i'd been thinking about getting that paia headphone distributor...
tho i still haven't finished their theremin kit i got last year.
anyone know of a good online place for electronic parts, like 1/4" ins? i broke a couple during installation...
for that matter, anyone have advice for building theremins?

i wonder if anyone here has used any of paia's other kits.

We're using the Behringer one, and it works just fine. Cost me $119. Seems to have plenty of volume available. I think the more important piece is the actual headphones.

But I'll let you all know if it quits on me:)
