Okay, so I've got this track, and I think it turned out pretty well, especially when you consider that my equipment sucks. I'm recording on a Fostex MR-8 until I have more cash handy. Can I get some constructive criticism on this?

Also, if you've got spare time, I've got more tracks at myspace.com/zacanger and myspace.com/lovepuppetstudios and would appreciate some critique.

Poo host lol,

Geocities gives you 15mb of bandwidth. That gets used up after 3-5 people listen to the song...

I do agree with ido, bass is a bit loud. Otherwise it's pretty darn good.
 
Come Closer sounds like very early Cure - "10.15 on a saturday Night by the strip light..."
Page 596 - a bit muddy sounding. Good ideas You need to balalnce the vocal against each other.
The drums seems a little lifeless.
Great work so far.

Thanks for the advice. Bass down, rhythm up, more life in the drums, clean it up. Unfortunately because of my crappy recorder I have to clear off each project when it's done and I can't go back and edit things later, but I'll keep that in mind for the future.
BTW, about Come Closer -- that seems to be a favourite of listeners. We've even got a Scottish radio station playing it, now.
