Wait! Let us get our terminology correct. Ozone is for mastering, not for mixing.
So, you don't use EQ, compression, limiting, saturation and other tools to make nice sounding mixes?
Anyone ever experienced with it has a mixing tool on its own channel strip?
I think the point is that Ozone has EQ's, compressors, etc......So the OP was asking if he can use those tools on his individual tracks while mixing. The answer is "Why not"? Ozone might be sold as a "mastering" program, but hat's their problem. You can still use the individual tools to mix, just like you'd use any EQ, compressor, etc.....
