My reference is a lot of the times listening to mixes (and CD's..whatever) that DO translate well everywhere. But when I play them back in my setup, they seem bass light.
I know...to a degree how to compensate, but I'd rather at this point not even have to go thru that step. I"ve known this for a long time, and that's why I've finally decided to make the plunge and see what I can do with the room now. (I've had these speakers for over 30 years now

In generally, stuff I've done has translated well to other cars, stereos, other people's setup... but jut looking for more improvement, as there's plenty of room for that!
