I think I got a little carried away with the vox on this one what do you think?

I'm on the laptop with headphones, but to me, it sounds good. Pretty voice. The vocals seem to sit well here....very clear, and they are not buried, yet don't stand out ontop of the music.

I'd say it's mixed pretty well man....and the vocal performance is well done. You captured that well also. The bacground/chorus vocals fit nicely also.

Sounds good!

I'd tinker with the background percussion levels a bit more to make them more even. I like the backgrounds and doubling, but it could use more to polish the overall sound up.

Thanks for listening but I'm a little confused by some of your points.

What percussion in particular? And what do you mean by polish? Compression? EQ? Reverb?

The mix sounds good in the beginning, but then the first tom roll seems high or needs to move from the left inward a bit. The kick is slightly overdriven, but might sound great on a huge subwoofer.

Vocals:
"Forgive me", "Don't want you to think", "It's odd", etc... I think could be lightly doubled. Personally, I think the vocals sound too exposed and raw to pack a punch.

Recording sounds great, I just think it needs a bit more production to make it less of a demo sound and more a finished product. But no offense meant, this is just me being ultra critical; it's a great start. In the style of a RES song.

I don't take offense... Your critiques make me better. :)

Thanks for listening again when I get back home i'll try to implement what you've said. I may have to get the singer back in here for some more tracks.
