I've got this new reverb outboard all hooked up (I think it's hooked up right anyway - it *looks* like it's hooked up right), but I have no idea how to get the dry tracks I've already recorded with Cool Edit out to the reverb unit so I can hear various reverbs on it, and then get it back to the hard disk to record the one(s) I want.

All dressed up and stuck in the waiting room. Anyone wanna help?

I bought an expensive bottle of wine by mistake one time, thinking it was the sort of stuff I usually get. Got it home, and poured out two glasses. We took a sip, and our eyes lit up, and we decided right then and there to go right back to the store and get some more of this good stuff. Realized my mistake as soon as I went back to the store of course. Anyway, the point of this story is that compared to the Cool Edit Pro reverbs I've got, the MPX 500 is like coming across the expensive wine that time. Very smooth, very tasty. Really easy to use. I am, as the British say, ever so pleased. mp3? Yeah, some day I suppose, after I learn how to mix down.
