Better Than You
OK,
The sequencer in my TD-10 sucks bad. I'm wondering...
Is it better to go buy a sequencer, or would a pc based one be better. Can I use the pc based one with any recording software?
Cuz the one in N-track kinda sucks. It's the only thing I don't like about N-Track.

Depends on what your preferences are, and what you're trying to accomplish.

The best stand alone sequencer on the market in my opinion is the MPC 2000XL. Be prepared to Drop $1600.00 on it to get a fully expanded version with sampling and additional sounds etc...

However, if you go the software route, you can get a remarkable sequencer plus an entire onslaught of sounds for 30% of the cost of an MPC or even less, depending on your needs.

Look into Sonic Foundry ACID 4.0. It's got a great sequencer, and a great program all together, for as low as $150.00 but, if you have the budget for bigger and better... Look into Cubase VST. It'll cost you around $600.00 but it's well worth it.
