it's pretty much a newbie sort of a question, but what the hell... i'm new at this.
i've recently gotten a copy of both deck2 and soundedit 16 for the mac. i was wondering if the "out of the box", factory-installed imac rev. a sound card is worth using. i've got a tascam porta05 that i've been using for a little while, so i was hoping to record into that and then mix, etc. on the computer.
part b of the question is this: if the card that came in my computer won't do the trick, who makes a decent one for the mac?
