Otari Mx5050 Relay Info

I'm assuming that the relay problem comes with age, and not just a poor design choice that can fail even out of the box?

My 5050 BIII is farily new and is only used for final mixdowns. Changing out the relays looks like it would be easy enough...just wouldn't want to bother if it's only needed when they get old and show some issues.

I've been having some issues with my MX5050 just recently--sounds like the relays may be partly to blame.

At some point I also cross referenced the Omran part to NTE R46-503-24 which I was able to find locally. AFAIK has the same spec and footprint. I did not have to install it.
