I stated in one of my other threads that I was having trouble with the RR button not working. I could get the tape to RR using the Jog or RTZ, so I knew it was not in the electronics. I asked my Father-In-Law and he took it apart and seen the rubber pad that houses the carbon tip was worn. To fix this he was able to take an old TV remote and cut the right size key pad out and installed it in the RR button. He also noticed the FF button was about at the end of it’s life and replaced that one as well. I could have bought another unit that had all switches for about $100.00 or replaced the RR switch for $20.00 but this works just fine for now. Just wanted to put this out their in case someone ever has the same trouble with their switches. Good luck. Here are two pics of the parts that were removed. Enjoy!
