Greetings All!
I think this is the first time that I've posted to this part of the forums, so bear with me
What I basically need to know is; is there any rule of thumb about what order to run effects in? What I'm running on my masters (err... Calkwalk Pro Audio 9) is; reverb, compression, eq, BBE sonic maximzer...respectively. It seemed to make sense (to me) running the compression after the reverb...ie compress the whole mix, then the eq just for a couple of tweaks and the "800hz notch", then the BBE just to sweatin things a little....does this make sense? These are all, of course DX plugins...I've been told that Calkwalk does run the effects sequencially so it made me wonder if I'm doing it right. I'm also running pretty much the same effects in the same order on the vocal tracks as well.
Just looking for a more experienced opinion....thanks!
