Orchestra Software??

A friend of mine is a classical music nut and he uses Personal orchestra and loves it. I'll ask him if he knows any other programs.
 
Big thumbs up for GPO for a low cost full orchestra sample set, Kontakt player included. I like the cello much better in Dan Dean Solo Strings, and I like Giga Piano better than the Steinway in GPO, but for one stop shopping to get everything from glockenspiel to xylaphone, all for a couple of bills, GPO is an outstanding value. Go to the Garritan website and you'll find a really cool instrument audition page, and a whole bunch of compositions performed with GPO.
 
What version of GPO is really good and has alot of instruments?

How much RAM and processor speeds do i need to run this GPO?
