I play an esp thru a tube mp project series preamp into my Peavey vypyr 15. I'm getting a bbe maxcom so I will have a compressor to add after my pre and a sonic maximizer. Sadly enough I do not have a fx loop so I will be lacking there. Do you think this will help my sound and if so how much

It would help if we knew what you were planning to accomplish with this set up.If this is for a dedicated recording amp then just worry about getting a good tone from the preamp or the Peavey.You can apply any of the other stuff during post processing and mixing.If your building a rack system for live playing or rehearsals or just fiddling around than that's an entirely different route.
