There was definitely a rather large thread about this mic not too long ago. May I suggest the search feature?

The Reader's Digest version- These mics are very new, and very few people have heard them. Those that have, mostly are pretty positive, but there aren't a lot of reliable, unbiased reviews by mic experts. I would call the initial reports encoraging, but the jury hasn't even been sent out, much less come in.-Richie

I own a Perception 200 and I like it. I bought it instead of an AT-2020 and I'm glad I did. I like the Perception better. It is very good on low pitched vocals, but leaves a little to be desired on the top end. But what do you expect from a mic under $200. All in all, it's a good mic, and worth the price you pay.

Unfortunately I can't post any of my recordings with it, as I do all of my posting from work.

Hope this helps.

Actually, I thought it left a little not to be desired on the top end. :D But I agree that it is a solid vocal mic for the money. I only used it on one session (the vocalist brought it along and was quite adamant on using it), and it seemed to do a pretty good job on his voice.

Thanks for the relplies,
I looked through the search feature and when i came back people posted responses. Sounds like it would be worth checking out.
