got the idea the other day to "sticker bomb" the scratch plate on my lp junior

I think I prefer it to guitars that are totally covered with stickers...this offers something different. Almost more classy!

ya i like it just an idea that popped into my head the other day
i think it looks cool something a small bit differant to the boring white and black
 
I think it looks good. Definately better than a sticker covered guitar. Perhaps just tidy up the edges a bit and make an even black outline with a marker, would be more spiffy IMHO.
 
I dig it, and you haven't done anything permanent to the guitar in case you change your mind. Perhaps you could get some more pickguards and create some different ones to swap out as the mood strikes. I've been trying to decide what kind of guard to put on a couple of mine, and nothing seems to be the right thing. I may use this idea, or a variation on it. Excellent job.
 
Here's an idea:

Make people remember you for your playing, and not for being the guy with the silly stickers on his pickguard.

Here's my response:
i don't really care what you say, or what Cmunch said for that matter,
fair enough that's your opinion and i respect that, but i did it because i like and wanted to do something different
rather than the wannabes that go and buy a guitar because the guy in their favorite band has it and think they're the shit i took my guitar and made it unique to me..i'd much rather be a guy that had a unique guitar and try be different than a guy that tries to mimic their favourite band :)

It's the classic "How does it look?" question.
Usually people ask it because they have reservations and are not sure themselves.

If you don't care about anyone's opinion, you wouldn't ask...which is why I said to you it only matters if you like it or not.
I actually thought it looked a lot classier with the original black pickguard...but it's not my guitar, so what did it matter what I thought. :)

That guitar is not unique. Sorry. It looks just like Billie Joe Armstrong's guitar, except his is an actual Gibson. I'm just saying.

it was just an idea they are only stickers so if i decide to go back to the normal black finish they can easily be taken off would be alot worse if the whole guitar was done wouldn't it

..looks pretty lame to me. sorry kid. what's up with your bridge? from the looks of things the intonation must suck.
 
I think it looks nice from a distance but if anyone saw your Disney movie addiction up close (cars and toy story stickers) they'd think it's a bit kiddish. If you wanna make it interesting without being embarrassing, at least use something like skate stickers.

Overall it looks ok. I've never liked the looks of lp jr's anyways.
 
I would go with rude p0rn pics...just use real small images...that way people have to get real close beofre they realize what they are looking at. :eek:
