Use your old pick guard to trace out new ones in wood, metal, etc.
I brought one of mine to a glass shop and they made me one out of glass and an other out of mirror for about $3.00 each!

I thought I'd hate it when I read the post title, but I think it looks pretty good. Well done, sure beats putting stickers on the guitar body. I agree, you have not done anything non-reversable. Screw those guys, enjoy your guitar.

Usta have fun with the spot light I would position myself just right to hit the pretty Bettys in the audience and would make for some great openings for conversation. ;)
 
IMO skip the stickers.

This makes me think of the new guitars that look pre worn. Fuck off with that shit.
 
I don't understand that stressed look - i don't like it one bit.

I do want to get the neon florescent strings for my white ibanez though :laughings:;)
 
Age is a funny thing. I wouldn't mind betting that the OP's response at the age of 36 would be the same...........but at 41 it'll be different. Much more chilled and don't care~ish.
For what it's worth, I quite like it as a piece of decorative art.
