Could I just plug this straight in to my 2X12 Cabinet?

Marshall Pre > Mixer > 2x12 Cab.....will this work?

not really . unless of course the mixer is a ' powered mixer ' .

What Works:

If you want more than a watt or two (which is what your preamp MIGHT provide) you'll have to:

Guitar ---> Preamp ---> Power Amp ---> Speakers
