"Open Source" songs/files?

Hi all, I'm wondering... is there a way to get unmixed recorded music files? Not from a major band or anything, just songs that need mixing and are just basic recorded files. I'm wondering cause I'd like to do more mixing, but I don't have a way of recording much at the moment. They'd have to be wav, or cubase files.
