had fun with this today. i want to keep it acappella, but i'll need to track another day.

i changed the key a minor 3rd from the original. holy crap did mj sing high.

comments would be...should i beat box, or will that just be terrible. i should fill out the sound somehow i think.

some of the original track bleeds through and beat boxing might fill it out, but come on. beat boxing is kinda cheesy, yeah?

i got it! i'm going to add clapping and simple percussion, but not beat boxing. i'll fix some of the strained and pitchy chorus parts.

i really like this though.

ok here's a huge update.

still no accompanying melodic instruments but a LOT of rhythm. 2 shaker tracks, 2 wood block smacks, 2 lap slaps, 2 case beatings, 4 snaps, 4 claps.

redid some chorus parts and a lot of the main.

i don't know why i was stuck on how to fill it out.

I can't believe nobody has commented on this - this is excellent! Love the vocals, the arrangement, percussion and the balance in the mix. Glad you didn't go down the beat boxing route.

Nice change at the 2.00 mark too.
