I know this is a typical problem that beginers have when starting with Cubase, but I don't know how to fix it, so, what shall I do when recording a track it comes recorded as well the sound of the other recorded ones??

Thanx people!

If i understand the question correctly you are saying that when you record something the track you have recorded it to also contains a recording of all of the other tracks which played back during the recording.

If this is the case i think you are probably recording cubase' BUS 1 outputs. please explain the recording process you use and what soundcard you have.

If your using a soundblaster card, (possibly others) go to your card settings and uncheck "record what you hear" or something to that effect. It basically adds whatever track you lay down to all the background tracks playing and creates one track with all the parts on it. If you unclick it, it should stop that problem.

Hope that helps.
