G'day,
I have borrowed a Casio CTK 900 from a piano/keyboard shop for the long weekend to try out. This is going to be my very first keyboard/synth purchase mainly used for learning and recording thru a DAW and I don't want to spend a heap etc... well, in the manual it says that if you want stereo output from the keyboard when connecting thru the 'one' line out/headphone port that you need a stereo plug with two rcas (L & R) on the other end click and then you need the rca to 6.5mm connectors on the end of those to connect to the DAW Left and Right line ins click . I was wondering if this will give me a good recording compared to having separate left and right line outs on another keyboard like a Casio Wk 3700 which would set me back another $200 AUD?
Long story short - Is there any difference in recording a stereo image from 1 line out or separate L and R line outs?
Are all those extra connections on the ctk 900 going to effect the audio signal?
