I went to a piano shop to record output from MIDI file on a Yamaha CLP-745 and when I checked the output, it seems it was recorded in MONO.
The MIDI file was played from the SmartPianist app connected over BT. The audio was taken from AUX OUT (the 2 1/4" TRS plugs below the keyboard) to the LINE IN 1/2 on a USB Audio Interface connected to an iPad. see: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1967320/Yamaha-Clavinova-Clp-785.html?page=73
When I look at the raw data from WAV file, it appears that the output is MONO. The L/R correlation coefficient for all notes is 1.0.
Does anyone know what I did wrong? Is there a setting that I missed for Yamahas?
