One man band - Listen to this...

i like the song overall. but a lot of it seems muffled. i dont' know if that was the sound you were going for though. i like a lot of the lead guitar riffs. is the vocal line supposed to be the main focus of the song? if so, i can't really hear it. you might try working on some automating of volume levels 'cause everything seems to just stay where it's at. bass sounds good....i think drums are the most muffled part of the mix. but i like it composition wise. good job. :cool:
 
Vocal parts are just filler... to add more definition to the song. In your opinion, what can I do to the drums to "un-muffle" them?

Nice sounding song - There isnt any information at all about the guy who recorded the song on that page though , which is a shame.

I agree with the other guy about some elements sounding a bit muffled; My impression is that the microphones might not have been placed properly (e.g. a directional microphone which was not pointing at the instrument it was trying to record) - I am not really an expert on micing drums or anything, so there isnt much more I can say except that I enjoyed it
