One Man Acappella Track

this is great stuff

I love it. The arrangement on "What A Friend" is great and by the way, the lyrics are what they are. Thanks for posting this song and the others. It's hard to believe one person did ALL those parts. Wow!

Here's one that I did yesterday. It's a scratch lead and there's a chord that's not locking in the chorus. Let me know if you hear anything else that stands out.

NjOY!

Very very nice! You can tell that the second verse is a different take than the first; there was a presence difference on the entrance. Also, the Autotune is a little more prevelant at this stage of mastering. From a stylistic angle, I wonder if the melody were done a bit more marcato, would it match the feel of the accompaniment better; there seems to my ear the mildest of mismatch; the melody line as you interpret it is almost a languid smoothness; juxtaposed slightly against the staccato of the accompaniment... Great start though; can't wait to hear the final direction!

Done?

This is it finished. Unless of course i hear something stand out.

There is no auto-tune on the lead (obviously) but it is on the bkgrnds.

I kept the style of the lead the same. for two reasons.

1. It creates a stylistic syncopation between the Lead and the string emulations.

2. I'm just tired and ready to be done with the track. Hehehehe.

Be kind to the mastering job. I've just started using effects in my music. Hehe

Thanx for listening!
