Today I was recording from my Korg onto tracks 1 and 2... I noticed that the trim affected actual input onto the tracks, but the position of the faders for 1 and 2 had no effect on this input... I assume this is normal? But I've never noticed this before... I've always just placed the faders at the 0 level... After the recording was made, during playback, then the faders came back into play. Any insight?

Yes Bill, the faders only affect playback. I always have them all the way off during recording so we just monitor direct from the mixer. Is that what you were asking?

You could always get the poltergeist to help you out:D :D

Best wishes

Yes, I re-read the manual...

I feel great knowing that even after 5 months of use and lots of recording on the VF80 that I can still ask a very stupid question. I thought I might no longer be able to do so, but there it is, I still can!

By the way, loving the Studip Projects B1's -- very quiet, clean and neutral.
