I have two old microphones, both in working condition. They are both from around 1964-1970. I wonder if either has any historical or collector's value:
Unisphere A, Model 585SA
Unidyne III, Model PE54, Series 2; with odd looking 3 pin (mike) to 1/4" phone plug cable.

They were the "must have" mikes when i started playing in bands !

Peace,
Rick

Not that it means a whole hellova lot (although sometimes it does), the list price of the 585SA in '80 was 90 bucks, and the PE54 171.00 in '78, which is a lot of $. I believe the PE54 is the one that all the zydaco players rob the diaphrams out of and stick inside the accordians for "that" sound.

There are literally hundreds of Shure mics from that period and a lot of them are really cool. The 545S is the "Butterfield" mic, the one he used for a harp mic.

I don't think your mics are collectable, but usable...? You bet...
