Is anybody still using the old digidesign session 8 software?
I notice how simple it is to use because it is so basic, no plugin processing, just 8 tracks of audio recording and playback.
The 882 i/o interface box is 8 balanced TRS i/o plus SPDIF i/o at 16 bit. Still sounds good after all these years.
The only thing I'm worried about is the external hard drive.
I'm sure I've used it more than 5,000 hours so I know its only a matter of time before it goes.
I'm going to need to replace it so can someone recommend
where to get a 7200 or 10k RPM external SCSI-1 drive to hook up to Mac Quadra 840?
Many thanks ...
