Oktava mk012 drum OH's and LDC kick mic suggestions

Just picked up two Oktava Mk012's at Banjo Mart for the rock bottom $99/pair..comes with -10 DB rolloff pad

my plan was to go with the Fletcher 3mic setup, one OH 2 1/2 stick lengths above the snare and the other 2 1/2 stick lengths from snare but over the drummers right shoulder....drumming style is not metal or jazz, more bluesy, Stones, Wallflowers, etc...

the question is, I'm looking for a double duty large diaphragm condensor (preferable budget condensor), that would pick up the kick from about 3 feet away, 1 foot off the floor, somewhat acting also as a room mic....the room BTW, is 12' x 18'x 8', carpeted floor, wood paneled room...

being the frugal person I am, it would be kick ass to be able to use the LDC that I mic the kick with also for male pop/rock vocals..(non screamer).......

Is there such a mic out there that would be good for this double duty, or should I s***can the idea and go with a dedicated kick mic like an ATMpro 25, and get a dedicated vocal mic like some of the ones suggested on this forum??

some double duty budget (kick/vocal) possibilities?

You could try the MK319. It has a 10 db pad too; so you should be able to get it a little closer to the kick than any of those other mics. Just start with it about a foot away to be on the safe side

This is what I would do. I wouldn't want to take the chance of damaging my main vocal mic with a blast of air from a kick drum. Also, you'll be happier if you have a vocal mic that's really good at vocals and a kick drum mic that's really good at kick, rather than a single mic that's passable on both.

Shit can that idea and get a good kick mic... like a MD421, ATM25, or something. By the way... one of my favorite kick mic's is the MD421, and I think it's one of Fletcher's favorites too.
