how good are these mics, worth the money? i need them for overheadson a drum kit, how would they suit this situation? replies greatly appreciated! cheers,

I see you are a drummer, so I'll make this as simple as possible. There is a search function in the bar above the forum posts. Click on this, go to advanced search, type in "mc012 drum overhead", click on equipment forums>microphones>search now and you'll come up with enough for hours of reading.

I love 'em. I use them for overheads, and I often use one on the snare instead of the SM57. I think it makes a much more "present" snare sound, especially with brushes. Great mic for many uses besides drums.

Great mics. I own 2 sets. They are my first choice for overheads, and I also like them on guitar.

Get a set-you won't regret it.
