the "BOOM" you hear in songs....think Korn, SYL - Love @ about :26, etc....what kind of sample is used for that? I can't find any answers anywhere....

I use the biggest floor tom, compress a little, throw on a low pass filter to taste, give a little boost around 80 - 150Hz (depending on if there's enough "boom" or not) and wah-lah.


Of course I didn't listen to the example you gave.... I'll go do that now.

there is nothing more serious than the mad scientist of metal utilizing a song about "love" using a line like "make way for breeding", to a video completely tributing the evil dead series......
