what is this?
I have been doing my fair share of RTFM work on this one, and searching as well, but to no avail...
In my Cubase (SL3.0) manual, it mentions Direct X and ASIO drivers. Of the two I have the ASIO driver that was installed when I hooked up my FW1804 activated, because otherwise it will not communicate with Cubase.
Here inlies the question... I'm looking at all the plugins on the KVR website, and they are sectioned off in various categories. I am basically looking at all the VST plugs, but I know that the Direct X plugs are compatible with windows systems as well. Taking into consideration that I am using an ASIO driver, does anyone know if the Direct X plugs will even be supported within Cubase if I install them? Also, is there more of a chance of making my system unstable using both VST and Direct X plugins?
Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
