Hmmm, i seem to have a problem.

I have an Event Gina hooked up to my computer and I use it as my main sound out. I have Inputs 7 and 8 running to my stereo. The problem is when I turn my stereo up real loud while playin an mp3. The display on my monitor gets all wavey, and seems to shrink slowly. Its never done this before. It just seemed to start today. I don't know what to do and its really pissing me off.

Do you have really Burly speakers, and are they next to your monitor?

No, i dont have any huge speakers sitting next to my computer. They are a ways away and I dont think they should be contributing to the problem. Even if they are causing the problem, they have been sitting in the same place for quite a while and this problem just began today...its real strange.

Does it do the same thing if you play a cd or a tape in the stereo?

Maybe some shielding broke loose in the monitor or in the speakers.

Try unhooking the speakers from the stereo and see if it still does it.

Hope this is useful

Damn. Nice guess. Turns out it was one little speaker sittin slightly too close to the monitor. I move it away just slightly and problems solved. Thanks for your help guys. Easier problem than i thought.

Hi
You dont say what kind of system you have
but just make sure the Gina isnt on IRQ 11
if you ve got an agp card that is it .....it might be conflicting with the video card in the Bios
