Ok, maybe I'm a little bit lazy.........

......but I did use the search function and just couldn't work my way through all 182 pages. So here's my question (that I'm sure has been asked numerous times). I'm trying to decide on whether to buy active monitors, or passive monitors with a power amp. I'm just using a spare bedroom for recording guitar into n-track via a small mixer through my sound card. Nothing fancy. Your advice is appreciated.

Well....How much ??..If you are going "less expensive" I would get powered instead of passives...A good amp and a good set of monitors can get pricey..Maybe some of the guys will chime in and give some nice alternitives for less cash...I replied so this wouldn't fall too far...Best of luck

I recommend getting powered...less headaches, less cables, less f***ing around....powered for sure
