THose are good choices. I like the tom sizes. My drummer uses those exact size drums and I think they work pretty well. On my cheap kit at home I have 12, 13, rack toms and a 16 floor. I don't mind the rack toms so much but I'm not too much into the 16 floor tom.
How deep is your kick?

I don't like 16"x16" toms either, but I do like 14"x16" (Depth x Diameter) as it sounds more uniform with the rest of the mounted toms.
I never did like the 12"-13"-16" combination....generally because I don't like a 12" and 13" together. 13" to 16" is a good step, and if you have an 18" you can get the "Dom-Dam-Doom" tuning as I've read so many of th old timer's call it.
Depends on what style you play. I personally don't really like Sabian or Z CUstoms much. K Customs are nice, but my favorites are Paiste SIgnature. The SIgnature Full crashes are really awesome. But at the same time, its up to you. If you can, try testing different brands at a music store
i agree w/'til'...paiste sigs are really nice...i have a 16" A custom and an 18" paiste sign (fast crash)...fulls are nice too...the fast just fit what i was looking for better...the other thing regarding cymbals...it is really nice if you can have your current cymbal setup (or at least a crash and your ride) with you when you purchase add'l so that you can demo them together. most good stores will let you put on a demo kit and punch a kick while you listen to the different sounds...in fact, i was looking at buying a 18" a custom when i purchase my paiste sig...the paiste sig sounded great w/my other crashes and ride...much better than the a custom...anyhow my 2 cents...
