Ok I have a choice to make, 002r or HD-24

They are both roughly the same price after I buy a Firewire drive for my computer.

My computer is up to Digidesigns standards so that't not a problem.

I have a little recording experience, but not a lot.

This is just for a small home studio, for me and some friends...

I already have mikes, mixer, effects processor, etc.. So I really only need either one to get going...

Any thoughts?

I'm not familiare with the HD-24 but have and like the 002R. I'd base it for the most part on whether or not you want to work in Protools LE.

These are really very different devices . . . it depends on how you want to work, in or out of the box.
