I hope to be receiving a pair of MSH's soon... :D

Is that a hint? Man, you want me to work or something?

j/k, finished 'em yesterday, today's difficult task will be putting them in a box. Oh yeah, after I match 'em up.

Work is a 4 letter word...don't ever use that around me again, or I'll tell.... :D

Are these the 1M's?

I wanted to check out some info about the 1M mics on your site but the store is down and doesn't show anything about the mics. :(

That's because the mics will be different when it reopens tomorrow ;)

Have you started working in the ribbon mic in a Neutrik connector yet... :D

Do I need a priority number or something??? :D

From your soon-to-be-released lineup, what would you recommend for recording guitar amps and a Leslie in stereo???

I don't know if I've ever seen anybody talk about my mics in positive terms with respect to a guitar amp. I've used one of my cardioid mics for that myself, but I've also read negative reaction to the omnis on for that application. As for the new mics, well I really don't even know what they are myself, I mean I know what it is in them, and I've gotten pretty good at guessing good applications based on design criteria, but my customers tend to surprise me

I've noticed the trademark notice for "Orange Crunch" on your site-- is that the one with the built-in distortion? :D

I have a pair of those K-micros they don't sound bad. Haven't tried MSH's against them. I'll order a pair of them from MSH one day.

My dad makes that joke approximately 3 times a day, so I chuckled a bit less ;)

funny thing;

i showed my dad the schemo for the neve 1272 preamp section and we were talking about it..

when i told him people paid hundreds of thousands for old neve boards, he was like, shit i'll get your mother soldering these things together!

back to the scheduled postcasting.

Any news on when the store will be available for orders once again? Thanks,

Chris

I am still struggling with some last-minute tweaks, which if I don't finish today, will delay the reopen until Friday.

In the other news, I have decided this will be my last post here. 2007 will bring a more businesslike approach to my store, and I have never been completely comfortable with the extent of discussion here that personally involved me. I find I am also unable to participate on the basis of discussing other company's microphones, even when I limit comments to my favorites (which, in case you are wondering, are Beyer and Shure, and the delicious AT3060).

Very quickly last fall I decided not to participate on any other forums except this one, and now I don't feel this forum should be an exception. I greatly appreciate all the support I have received from members here, and I trust you will understand my esteem for this board is the cause for my resignation.

If you'd like to chat, you can email me here, NO BUSINESS TO THAT ADDRESS PLEASE! Y'all know where to find my website for such matters.

As Ghost would say,

Cheers!

I hope you will visit the cave once in a while.

Good luck in 2007....

I have the same problems discussing many specific items on HR. Unfortunately, I have too many friends in the business, so that occasionally, my recommendations of their products comes off sounding like a paid advertisement. It's a constant struggle for me to try to find the right balance.

vaya con (ronnie james) dio mshilarious-- thanks for the great mics and for sharing knowledge. :D
