Oh the joys of multiband compression!!!

I don't even really know how to use it yet and it's great. I just tried the Waves C4 comp and WOW. I can definately see a benefit for this type of compression. I added it to the master effects and it really tightened things up. Is anyone else using this and as impressed as I am?

and in combination with the L1 is dynamite when you learn to use it well... which i am moving towards but not there yet.

About 2 weeks ago, I saw a mixer that used a BSS DPR901 II on vocals...

I wouldn't know where to start... How would you use that thing on just the main vocal? The dude was good btw. About the best mix I've ever heard for a hardcoreband...
