Uhm, the analogy applied to the rapid-fire heavy-transient sound that is somewhat your signature. I characterize your music as mathematical and exploratory, at first. The pieces have their own character, like molecules. But you gotta know the molecule to understand it's properties, you know? And I hear lots of molecules; as if they're all on the Drstawl Periodic Table.
I wanna hear you do the Monet that's hung next to the Periodic Table. Not necessarily a boring 3-chorder, but rather something composed of sounds that don't have aggressive transients and that aren't as "busy."
The Ferrarri/Cadillac analogy was aimed at what these cars feel like at 80 mph. A Ferrarri is exciting, close to the ground, bouncing on each piece of gravel in the asphalt. You're very aware of the ride. A Cadillac glides over the pavement; it reflects the lulling grace of the hillside as it hovers like a seagull over the choppy seaside surf. You're also aware of the ride, but in a different way.
I love your Ferrarri. But that Cadillac is beggin' to be driven. Take us for a ride!
