Offering My Voice for recording your tracks if you need me

Hey Folks, im Sergio from Bolivia i speak spanish mostly. and im triying to learn myself how to record and get better at music recording, im an empiric musician i don't know anything about theory of music but i do music with feeling and passion, and im looking for get better at producing my self music, right now im the newbiest guy in this forum(or thats how im feeling) i think, i been reading some tutorials and also practice all the time, what i want to do is to offer you to sing your songs for free, if you need my voice and if you think its good enough, if its not but you see potential in it i will try hard to get better.

By the way since im spanish i got a weird accent and i need to learn better English, but thats good for me so in the process i can get better english.

I use a Focusrite 2i2 Scarlett and a Audio Tecnhica at2020 for record all the music(Drums, Guitar and Voice),thats my basic stuff for working, i know it doesnt sound loud enough or strong enough and i want to learn all those tricks to make my music get a better soudn, well what im offering is my voice if you liked and in exchange or trade you teach me some tips for better recording.


I used to sign songs from MUSE, THE ARCTIC MONKEYS, LENNY KRAVITZ, JAMIROQUAI, THE STROKES, RADIOHEAD, INCUBUS, SUBLIME, BOB MARLEY, MODEST MOUSE, and others more in live performances.
To be honest i don't like my voice i found it weak, to girly not strong at all but my goal its to get better and practice till i really like it.

So thats why im offering this, if you got a song and u find my vocals could fit your song im here, Ready for work and learn.

Dude, I don't think your voice is bad at all. In fact, it's got a great tone to it. I certainly wouldn't call it girly. You should just try to project a little more, imo. I mean, for example nobody would call Marvin Gaye's voice "girly" and that dude could sing three octaves! He was definitely encroaching on the typical female vocal range and used it incredibly well.

Work with what you've got, brother because it's all you've got!

I was wondering would you be able to help me with my composition such as improving my lyrics and singing them as I honestly can't sing at all and plus I want to do the lyrics in Spanish, I think your voice would really add to the dynamics so yea could you consider helping thanks

I just listened to the track you posted "LadoConsado"... wow, i really liked it. You have a good voice, nice sound to it. In that song, you sound like you are having fun, laid back... bit still confident, in an easygoing way.

You said your not all into theory, but have passion and work at it. Hey mijo, dont worry about it.... you can get "there" by theory, or get "there" with ears and a voice... either way. whatever your doing is working very well !

I wish i had heard this earlier, I bet you get lots of requests to do vocals on here now... I write music, but, like you said about yourself? "I am no professional" at music writing. PLus, I cant sing a NOTE, lol.

I do have this ONE track you MIGHT wanna listen to... its a pretty short piece, about 1-1/2 minutes... of classical-sounding acoustic guitar... thought it might be interesting if you just listened to it, maybe if you wanted to just "play" trying to put some vocals over it in your spare time, for fun... go ahead.

the track is called "spring rain", and like i said its very short, about a minute and a half. It was just an "ejercicio" where i was trying to get used to "using" acoustic guitar as a solo instrument.

if you dont like it when you hear it, thats cool. if you like it, you can do ANYTHING you want to do... complete control on your part. You can sing en Espanol, sing en Englais... or both... use lyrics you might already have, make up new lyrics, whatever you want to do.

heck, you have a nice voice, if you just wanna hum and make vocal expressions, go ahead and do that...

Hello man, i would love to hear your song, and thanks for the reply, it was really fun to read hahaha and also i enjoyed what you wrote im really interested, so far im not working with to much people just one person, who now is a friend and i didin't finish his song yet im still practicing like 2 weeks now becouse i want to make it really good and don't dissapoint him, so im open for any kind of work with any who needs me so im emailing you right now, i hope you also read this, and its awsome that you giving me freedom for your song ill see what i can do have a great day man. :D
