Why do you want to calculate it this way, other than curiousity? This is something that is not done mathematically, but by using your ears.
When you set the frequency, that center frequency is the one that will be raised and lowered most, with the surrounding frequencies affected less the further you get away from the center. The "Q" determines how much the surrounding frequencies are affected, in other words how fast the eq boost/cut falls off around the center frequency. An narrow bandwidth will affect mostly the center frequency, and a wide bandwidth will gently taper in both directions.
